Mozza Style Guide

Our fashion expert’s tips to flatter your Younique Mozza Body!
Remember these are only guidelines- fashion is all about fun and feeling your best! So if you feel good in it, don’t be afraid to rock it!

Your body challenge: Balancing your curvy hips and bust
Parts you want to accentuate: Your small waist

Tops
  • Wear belts. Belted dresses and other outfits with belts can help draw attention to your lovely waist. Bright colors draw the eye, so you can make good use of distinctive, noticeable belts.
  • Choose tops with open necks, V-necks and other low necklines to give length to your throat and upper body and draw attention to your face.
  • You can sport the leggings look with an A-line dress or tunic top because this look is about the top and not the leggings
  • The length of your tops should either catch you just below your hipbone (a few inches above crotch point), or past the thigh area.
  • It’s imperative that anything that you wear on top fits properly on the shoulders because the eye is drawn to definition.
  • Belted tunic button down shirts look incredible so be sure to give that look a go.
Dresses
  • Mozzas were made for dresses. Wear them as often as you can!
  • Try wearing dresses with clearly defined, fitted waistlines.
  • Wear wrap dresses. They'll make the most of your slender waist.
  • Try strapless dresses that has a nice waistline.
  • Rock a 50’s fit-and-flare frock.
  • Figure hugging sheath dresses and waist defining shirt dresses love a Mozza body
Bottoms
  • Try A-line skirts to flatter your hips
  • Flat-front, mid-rise, wide waist-band, boot-cut or jeans are the obvious flattering choice for a Mozza. Look for a skimming fit (a fit that skims over the contour of your body), and adjust the waistband as needed.
  • When you can, opt for bottoms with a bit of stretch for extra comfort around your full bum
  • Mozzas can definitely wear skinnies or straight legs if they are matched with A-line tunics, dresses and heels.
  • Pant hemlines should almost skim the surface of the ground.
  • You can wear most styles of skirt if they have enough structure and drop to a flattering length.
  • Keep skirts around the knee, sometimes a little above and sometimes a little below is an easy rule of thumb.
  • A-lines are best when the panels are stitched down and shaped for extra hip definition.
Jackets & Blazers
  • Choose tailored single breasted jackets with defined V-necklines.
  • A Mozza’s jacket length will very much depend on what its worn with:
  • Shrunken jackets look great with skirts and dresses.
  • Longer jackets that hit below the broad part of the hips look best with pants.
  • Don’t shy away from boyfriend jackets. Find a style that’s more tailored than boxy, wear it open or belted at the waist & scrunch up the sleeves.
  • It’s a great idea to keep your jacket unbuttoned because the long lean line that is created in front of the body is elongating and slimming.
Shoes
  • Heels can add length to your legs and make your hips look less full.
  • It’s flop proof to wear pointy-toed or almond toe shoes with bottoms that are wide at the hem because it elongates the leg line.
  • Peep toed shoes add the illusion of more height & a longer line by showing that little bit of skin at the bottom.
  • Wedge sandals are miracle workers when you are showing off your calves.
  • A nude or beige heel will work best to lengthen your legs.
Accessories
  • A Mozza can choose from a wide range of bags; to create contrast select a bag that is angular (rectangular, square).
  • You are free to play around with earrings, bangles and bracelets, just don't go overboard, stick to the 3 piece minimum rule.
  • Go for necklaces that end in the valley of your cleavage or above. If you select a necklace that sits over your bust line, it may have a tendency to sit out, rather they lie smoothly.
  • Wearing a scarf that hangs in long line down your torso will make your waist look even smaller.
  • Belts can be an amazing accessory for you body. Anything with a statement to it (big buckles, studs, etc) will draw more attention to your little waist.
  • Keep your accessories to a medium size. Mozza are already proportionate for the most part so adding extra volume with bigger accessories to either half can make you look off balanced. But with the same principal if you want to even out a bust that is a little bit smaller than the hips go for earrings that a little bigger or hang lower.
