Our fashion expert’s tips to flatter your Younique Suza Body!
Remember these are only guidelines- fashion is all about fun and feeling your best! So if you feel good in it, don’t be afraid to rock it!

Tops
- Draw attention to a full bust by wearing V-neck tops, scooped necks, cowl necks, open shirt collars and boat necks. The lower neckline helps to accentuate the long lean line.
- Look for tops that either hit just below the hipbone or a few inches above the crotch point when wearing jeans or pants.
- Wrap tops, mock wrap tops, tops with front/side ruching, and tops with front knot detailing are very flattering for a Suza. The strategically placed folds create curvature.
- Select tops that float away from the waist, but that are structured on the shoulder. Think empire cuts (with or without gathers), banded tops, swing tops and trapeze silhouettes
- Look for tops with lots of sleeve detail like flares, slits, gathers, embroideries and cuff treatment as this will attract attention to your slim, pretty arms.
- Try a dress with dropped waists that hit below your true waist flatter any Suza.
- Bias cut dresses, sheaths in woven fabrications, weighty jersey dresses with front knot or under bust detailing are good options because they create a waistline but skim over the extra bits.
- Dresses with center front ruffle details, belted shirt dresses, and mock wrap frocks with plenty of side seam ruching work well.
- Flutter sleeve dresses that gather or tie up right under the bust will soften your torso and skim over a thicker waist to give a very feminine look.
- Wear short skirts that make the most of your slim legs.
- Go for A-line skirts to help your bottom look more in proportion with your top.
- Wear bottoms with back pockets or back details if you have a smaller bum.
- Sport printed or textured skirt or bottoms to draw more attention & accentuate lower half.
- Bias cut skirts, trumpet skirts, and paneled A-line skirts are all good choices for a Suza.
- Choose flat front, straight leg, boot cut or flared pants/jeans and avoid pleats and gathers.
- Layer a structured jacket or cardigan over a top that floats away from the waist. That way you’ll create a tailored look over a voluminous layering piece.
- Sport a single breasted structured jackets with V-shaped lapels that button below the bust line. The “V-shape” that is created in front of the body has an hourglass effect.
- Make sure jackets and blazers are snug on the shoulders and nipped in at the waist.
- Try leaving your jacket open creates a slimming vertical line down the front of the body
- Belted trenches and classic single breasted coats with tailored lapels at both thigh and knee length look fabulous on your body.
- Platforms shoes. They’re chunky so they add more fullness to a rounded figure, so the eyes are tricked into seeing a more balanced figure.
- Wedge Sandals are also great for balancing out a Suza shaped body. They give the illusion of a fuller bottom half, without unnecessarily highlighting your torso. For closed shoes, choose wedges that have rounded off toes. This will give a curvy balance to your overall appearance.
- Calf-Length Boots. Slouch style boots work best; if you want to add a little height chunky heels flatter best but don’t fear stilettos either. The bulkiness of the boots will counterbalance needle heels.
- Ballet Flats to flatter your slim calves and ankles.
- Strappy Sandals slim calves and ankles, encircling these with straps won’t make their legs look throttled.
- Wear bracelets & cuffs to draw attention to your lean arms!
- Smaller necklaces help minimize a large chest
- Scarves that hang in a long line down the torso help slim and lengthen the appearance of a wider waist
- A bag that hangs around the hips and thighs will help balance the lower body.
- A clutch purse carried by the hands, messenger-style bags or cross body style bags that hang on the hips are all great choices for Suzas.
- Wear a belt right at the smallest part of your torso (normally right below your bust) to draw the eye in & give the illusion of a smaller waist.
- Add a long vertical line by using long accessories chains or a draped belt that falls down onto your slim hips.
